Have you heard? There is a new online magazine out there and I’m loving each and every page. And that magazine is called Rue magazine. As you know I’m all about online magazines and have featured a few here before. I have to admit I love flipping through the pages of a magazine, but I think I may get used to these online publications. I’m loving them!
Here is a sneak peek inside the pages of Rue Magazine but please promise me you’ll go and look at this magazine for yourself. You won’t be disappointed by the photo’s and the features. Now let’s start off with the “Shopping Cart” pages. The first few pages of the magazine are really filled with what I like to call eye candy. You judge for yourself…
And there is one more I also had to include.
Are you getting excited yet? Rue magazine covers several topics including fashion, interior design, and food. Since we are talking food take a look at this feature….
Only one word to describe it really…..YUMMY! What do you think? And don’t worry they include a link to the recipe.
To follow up this photo they include s selection of kitchen must haves with the theme around country apples.
And here is a glimpse of a kitchen featured in the pages of Rue that I thought was too cute. Loving the yellow.
And here are two images that I fell in love with. Loving the flowers on the night stand and secretly wish I could have them on my own nightstand right now. And the inspiration board, well it’s inspirational!
And I’ll end you with this image because I wanted to transport myself to this very table and I thought you may want to do the same.
Thanks to Rue Magazine, I have now added you to my must have online magazine reads! I’m already looking forward to your next issue!

Aren’t these just fabulous! I stumbled across Kate Spade’s site today and found these wonderful clutches using some famous novels as faces to clutches! The Great Gatsby, Great Expectations, and The Importance of Being Ernest
They are all made of laminated silk twill with metallic cowhide trim and lined with a custom woven pinstripe silk faille lining in chocolate and cream. And of course all have the kate spade new york embossed signature on the hardware. Fabulous, right?
I love them all, but my favorite might be the Great Expectations. What’s yours?

There are many design e-magazines popping up, also known as online magazines, paperless magazines, or digital magazines (I vote we call them e-mags!). Sweet Paul Magazine is a new find that I came across and I heart it completely. Filled with all things I love….food, entertaining, photography, and all things pretty. Here is a sneak peak of some of the pages and you judge for yourself. To me it’s just pure beauty. Thanks Sweet Paul for making me smile!
Now here is a little info on Sweet Paul….
Sweet Paul magazine is based on Paul Lowe’s wildly successful blog Sweet Paul, witch ranked 22nd in the London Time’s Top 50 Best Design Blogs. With over 100,000 hits a month Sweet Paul has become a regular read for editors, stylists and foodies all over the world. Paul’s motto is “chasing the sweet things in life” and the magazine sure lives up to that. It will be filled with easy and elegant recipes, fun and stylish crafts, entertaining ideas, shopping tips, up and coming crafters and so much more.
One of my favorite features of this first issue was the “Off to the Circus”
And we can’t forget the food! Make sure you go and check out the amazing recipes and photographs inside the pages of the Spring Issue. Here is just a glimpse of some of the amazing food.
Now go and check out Sweet Paul Magazine, and I hope you enjoy the pages as much as I did!

Paula Deen, what can’t you love about this adorable lady? Now I have to tell you a story of how Paula entered my life several years ago. I had just graduated from Savannah College of Art and Design and was lucky enough to be offered a wonderful job at the Gap in San Francisco. At that point I thought I was ready to move away and start my “big girl” life. I don’t think I realized just how far away San Francisco was from my hometown of Atlanta, GA. I dove right into work but I was homesick beyond words. I missed my family and friends so badly. Then one weekend afternoon I was flipping through the channels and there she was….Mrs. Paula Deen. At this point in my life I wasn’t a devoted cook and baker like I am today, but I stopped and I watched and I cried. Not a sad cry, but a good cry because for 30 minutes I was home again. Paula reminded me of many of the Southern women I had in my life growing up and just having that nice soul talking to you…I mean what could be better? I just simply adore her and have ever since. My girls are even addicted to Paula and know her face when her show comes on. It’s actually very cute because they’ll start yelling…Paula, Paula! And they call Paula their “friend”. I have a feeling this is the start of some future cooks.
Well, since I’m a huge fan of Paula I visit her website often just to catch up and see what she’s been up to. I’m also one of the ladies competing in the Real Women of Philadelphia challenge and crossing my fingers I’ll get to meet this lovely lady in person. Well recently, her wonderful Design Director (and Personal Assistant), Brandon, has been doing a section on her sight called Savannah Style. It’s here where Brandon works his magic on a theme inspired tabletop. He’ll tell you how to do it and what he used from Paula’s own collection of stuff and he also squeezes in a couple great stories. I got to see Paula and Brandon together at the Miami Food and Wine Festival and what a hoot these two are! Now let’s talk tables….
The Spring Table for Two (pictured above) is one of my favorites. The colors the flowers….all just beautiful! All prepared for a luncheon with Paula’s cousin Johnnie.
This Green Dinner Party was actually the first tables I saw in the Savannah Style section and how beautiful. Of course the inspiration was St. Patty’s Day which if you don’t know is a huge celebration in Savannah. I say this table would be perfect even if it wasn’t St. Patty’s Day.
And….Paula and Brandon have come out with a Savannah Style book! How great!! In this gorgeous, richly illustrated book, Paula Deen shares a full year of Southern living. Whether it’s time to put out your best china and make a real fuss, or you’re just gathering for some sweet tea on the porch at dusk, Savannah style is about making folks feel welcome in your home. With the help of decorator and stylist Brandon Branch, you’ll learn how to bring a bit of Southern charm into homes from Minnesota to Mississippi. For each season, there are tips on decorating and entertaining. What could be better I ask?
