Love Bites Halloween
I love this time of the year! Halloween! And it will be here before we know it. I have been sharing some Kid Inspired Halloween tables over on the kids page this week and I thought it was only appropriate to share an “adult” themed Halloween party here on the mommy page. This party stopped me in my tracks as soon as I saw it. It comes from the ultra creative folks at Sweets Indeed Blog. Sweets Indeed is an amazing event planning company out of LA, California.
For this shoot, they wanted to create something that didn’t necessarily scream Halloween but had a subtle creepiness to it. They drew inspiration from the Victorian era and tapped into their inner haunted mansion. Think Disney and the Haunted Mansion ride but 100-times better.
After handcrafting their black lace backdrop and dessert stands, they decided on desserts for the more mature palette and made creme brulee in chocolate dishes, tiramisu, lavender ginger cookies, decorated lemon sugar cookies, monster-tini’s and an assortment of candy take away treats. The two-tiered cake was made by Rebecca Lehman of Heavenscent Cakes and became a focal point for the Sweet Station. They ended up loving the intricate detailing and the perfect color match, don’t you?
They designed and created all of the paper goods as part of the overall look of the dessert station. The favor boxes, mini treat cups, candy bar wrappers, and flavor tags were all put together by Sweets Indeed. Scrapbook paper, brads, and decorative items helped them complete the look. They even adorned the center of their candy bar wrappers with a sticker from the Martha Stewart Halloween collection.
They also crafted decorative masks and mustaches for the guests to disguise their true goulish identities with.
Be sure to check out more of the amazing details on Sweet Indeed’s Blog. An amazing party with no detail left uncovered.
