Happy Earth Day!!
In honor of Earth Day, I wanted to share with you some fabulous Eco and Earth Friendly products that are out there for your little ones! After all, we all want the world to be a healthier and happier place for our children!
Husband and wife started company and they focus on using only the most natural ingredients for their products. This family business lives by their mantra — creative play the natural way. New products are developed with this belief in mind. From the ingredients to the unique packaging, eco-kids® works with environmentally friendly companies from around the United States to bring you fresh ideas in the world of art supplies. And the whole Eco-Kids family test all products to make sure they are fun to play with…. After all, that’s what it’s all about!
Check out all their great products
Green Toys Inc. makes an awesome line of classic children’s toys constructed from recycled plastic and other environmentally friendly materials. This helps reduce fossil fuel use and reduce greenhouse gas emissions, improving the overall health and happiness of the planet (and our kids). They have a selection of great “green” toys but my favorite and my kids favorite our their trucks and race cars….oh and the pizza parlor too!

PlanToys® incorporates thoughtful design and age-appropriate challenges to stimulate children’s creativity. All their toys are made from non-chemically treated rubberwood. And their toys enable children to play, learn and become closer to nature.
I visited their booth at The Toy Show in February in NYC and loved so many of their products. Some of my favorites were the Green Dollhouse with Furniture, Walking Elephant, and Wooden Trike
Happy shopping and most importantly Earth Day everyone!!!

I’m back with another favorite from my recent trip to the NYC Toy Fair. There is a growing amount of companies going green, which as a mom a value on so many levels. As a family we try our best to make changes to better the environment as well as eating organic every chance we can. While walking the fair I found this adorable company called miYim. miYim goal is more than just playthings – they aim to teach values and environmental responsibility, all while touching the hearts of children through imagination and whimsy.
They have several different collections. In their toy collection they have
Fairytale Plush (I think the Pink Hippo is my favorite)
Dr. Seuss (the only organic plush toy supplier for Dr. Seuss)
Jane Goodwall (my favorite)
All of the toys are colored with miYim’s PureWaterWashTM process using only plants and minerals, making these toys a safe alternative to toys made with environmentally damaging processes.
And don’t worry miYim has also thought about the little babies in your life and has a collection of assorted products dedicated for your infant using organic natural products.
Some of the collection within the infants are:
Hope you enjoy the miYim products as much as I did. If you are looking for a retailer by you go to their Store Locator page.
