Halloween is almost here and I don’t know about your house but I have 2 little girls who are very excited about Halloween this year.  We’ve already been doing several Halloween crafts and decorating the house.  They can’t get enough of Halloween this year!  You can see the Indoor Halloween Wreath I made for their door on the mom side of the blog.  I have been on the hunt for other Halloween crafts to do with the little ones and thought I would share some of my finds.  I can wait to do some of these Halloween crafts with my munchkins.

Have fun and happy Halloween crafting!

Halloween is a little over a month away.  I don’t know about your house but it’s a conversation that is brought up often.  Of course each time they change their minds of what they want to be, but we are all excited.

While on Pinterest today I found Laurie’s Tutu Boutique and I fell in love with the adorable scarecrow costumepictured above.  Laurie’s etsy shop has some other really adorable costumes that could be perfect for your little one.  Like this little butterfly

And this costume would be a winner in my house, Rapunzel.  It is one of our favorite movies these days and we’ve watched it several times.  What a beautiful costume!

Be sure to head over to Laurie’s Etsy shop to see more amazing costume’s and tutu’s for this coming Halloween.

Halloween is quickly approaching us and if you haven’t already started to think about costumes…well it’s time to start thinking about what your little ones are going to wear. Picking out what to be for Halloween has been a hard one in my house and we usually wait till the last minute which isn’t too good because most the costumes are picked over by then. If you have that same problem in your house then I’m sharing a few easy costumes ideas over on Smithfield.com today.  You’ll find an idea for a Hula Girl, a Chocolate Chip Cookie, and a Lady Bug.  All of them are easy to put together on your own. The ideas range from buying a few key items at your local costume store to buying a few materials at your local fabric store.  Stop by and leave me a comment on what your little one is going to be this year.  Or if you have any ideas for easy costumes let me know.  Would love to hear them!

Happy Halloween!!

Happy Friday!  Today I bring you one more Halloween inspired dessert table.  This Bats and Bones themed party was dreamt up by the talented Sandra Downie from Sandra Downie Event Design.

Sandra didn’t want to just do a traditional black and orange color scheme so deep purple seemed to be a natural choice for a pop of color. The Bats and Bones theme idea came her after a brainstorming session with two of her girlfriends one night after looking at pictures online.  I have to say it worked out great!

Sandra teamed up with the oh so talented Kori Clark of Paper and Pigtails who designed all the candy bar wrappers, bat juice labels and candy jar signs.  All keeping the theme of Bats and Bones.

She found the Cupcake Candy Skulls from Michael’s

The RIP and Bat Cookies came from one of her favorite cookie vendors The Flour Pot in NY.

And my favorite the Bat Lollipops from Candy.com

The beautiful pictures were taken by Jennifer Fiereck of J. Fierek Photography.

An amazing Halloween dessert table.  Thanks Sandra!

Now are you in the mood for Halloween yet?  I hope the parties and tables from the past three days have inspired you to throw your own Halloween party.

I thought for the rest of the week I would feature some fabulous Halloween parties.  It’s hard to believe Halloween is only a few short weeks away.  I better get busy because I have yet to get the girls their costumes….yikes!  Just got a little stressed.

This wonderful party comes from the very talented Stefanie from Anna and Blue Paperie.  She recently sent me an email about her amazing Halloween party and printable paper products and I knew I had to share with everyone.

And if you love all the printouts and have a Halloween party coming up check out her etsy shop where she has these available.

Love these Candy Stickers: Kristy – Posh Pixels Design Studio.  What a cute idea!  You get a little something extra when you reach into a bowl of candy!

I also fell in love with these Halloween Lollipops that Stefanie found at Sam’s Club.

And a party is not a party without cupcakes!  Stefanie found the cupcake stand at Target and the glittered spiders at Pier One.  And the table runner, cute right?  She found that at Pier One too.

And if you love all the printouts and have a Halloween party coming up check out her etsy shop where she has these available.
