I just came back from attending the International Toy Show in NYC for work and spotted some amazing products.  I thought I would share with everyone some of my favorites from the show.  One of my favorites was P’kolino.  P’Kolino(pee-ko-lee-no) was founded to improve play at home by two dads with a passion for creating great products. With the help of their friends, family and a global network of designers, P’kolino created play products.  They are all playful, stylish, smart, and have functionality.

I had a lot of favorites from their collection of products but I think my favorite was their Play Table collection.  They are all fun and totally functional for the little people in your lives.

Pictured above: Tree Table with Giraffe and Zebra Chairs, Klick Desk, Zebra Rocking Chair, and Chalk Table.

P’kolino also offers these super cute and fun Play Seating featuring some funny friendly faces. These smart characters are comprised of three soft pieces that when “puzzled” together make a playful friend. Sturdy enough for a wobbly toddler to balance on and light weight enough to move around, these silly seats are a fabulously fun gross motor tool.
So, climb on it, sit on it or drool on it; the snugly, durable fabric is  removable and washable.  An extra a bonus!

Next is their collection of Toys & Arts which is filled with super fun products for your little one to play with.  This collection of products are also filled with award winners.  The Multi-Solution Shape Puzzles have won awards from Parents Magazine and is also a Parents Choice award winner.  The Puzzle Stacker won the 2009 Top Toy of the Year from Creative Child and the 2009 Parents Best Toy award.  If I could give an award I would give it to the Book Bunggee, a fun way to make books a part of your childʼs everyday play.

P’Kolino is one of my favorites from the show.  Hope they are one of your new favorites too.

I’m back again with some more Holiday Gift Ideas.  This time we are focusing on ideas for stocking stuffers.  Growing up my favorite thing to open on Christmas morning was all the little things found tucked inside my stocking.  I loved it so much that I saved it for last to open.  Something about all those little things tucked inside a big sock.

My girls have huge stockings that their grandmother made them right after they were born.  Every year since I look forward to finding little things to tuck inside their stocking.  This year I’m even more excited because they are getting older and they are starting to get what Christmas and gift giving is all about.  Which makes me even more excited for Christmas morning.

As I was on the hunt for stocking stuffers I came across some of these super fun “stuff” and wanted to share.

Happy Shopping everyone!

It’s that time of the year….Christmas time!  The time to give and to share.  As I have been busy searching for gifts for the little ones in my life I have come across some adorable finds.  This week I thought I would share some gift ideas I have ran across with all of you out there.  Just in case you are in the search yourself for the perfect gift.

To start the week off, here are some gift ideas for the little baker or chef in your life.  My little ones are always asking to help as I’m cooking or baking.  However, mommies tools are a little too big for their tiny hands so these are on their Christmas list.  With these adorable kid gift sets from Martha Stewart they will have their own sets of bowls and cups to help mommy.  I just love Martha, she thinks of everything!!

For the chef, Martha Stewart Kids Kitchen Tool Set, $19.95 at Macys.com

For the pizza lover, Martha Stewart Kids Pizza Kit, $19.95 at Macys.com

For the little sous chef, Martha Stewart Kids Prep Kit, $19.95 at Macys.com

Happy Shopping and stay tune to some other fun finds throughout the week for the little ones in your life.

3 Sprouts was created by three friends who share a love of babies and an appreciation of unique and modern products.  They have an super cute assortment of products but one of my favorites happen to be these adorable storage bins which would be perfect for any childs room.  They are made of 100% organic cotton canvas and 100% eco-spun felt (made from recycled water bottles).  They have a variety of different animals too from a monkey to a owl.  Which both can also be found on Land of Nod.

I’m in love with these cute storage bins and what a fashionable and cute way to store your little ones toys.

With the girls starting school in three weeks I have been on the hunt for a lunch box for their first day.  I think I’m also trying to consume my thoughts with other things besides the fact that they are starting school.  Yikes!  they are growing up.  It’s not preschool so does that mean it’s not officially school?  They are beginning the “Tot” program and will be in a class of 10 other 2 and 3 year olds.  It was a hard decision, but we think it’s going to be great for everyone in the end.  I’m just not looking forward to that first day of them walking inside their classroom for the first time.  After all, it feels like it was yesterday that I was holding them in my arms (both of them).

As I was on the hunt for lunch boxes I came across some really great things that I had to share with you all.  Like the adorable lunch boxes above from Skip Hop.  So cute and there are 6 animals to choose from.  What’s your favorite?  I think the owl is just too cute for words!

Then what about these?  Reusable, washable, and grease proof snack bags….and they are pretty!  Lunchskins offers three sizes of reusable bags in a variety of adorable prints.  If you aren’t too sure about reusable bags maybe this may change your mind….every day, more than 20 million sandwich bags from school lunches go into landfills in the US.  I think these adorable lunch bags are a lot more fun and you won’t be worried about being one of those people filling up that landfill.

And here just a few more fun things that are perfect for packing your little ones lunch.

1. Japanese-style lunchbox with whimsical designs 2. Resnackit reusable lunch bags 3. Mini Lunchbox Notes to create quick personal notes inside your kids lunch box 4. Water Week water bottles can be filled and stored in fridge leaving kids to decide which bottle to use every day.

Now that I have the perfect lunch box and accessories now to figure out what I will be packing each day for my munchkins.  I hope these ideas were fun for everyone as much as they were for me to find.
