Paleo Sweets and Treats: Seasonally Inspired Desserts that Let You Have Your Cake and Your Paleo Lifestyle, Too! shows you how to make delicious treats using fresh, seasonal produce, natural sweeteners, and nutritionally dense, grain-free flours all to keep you on your Paleo course.  I am so excited to finally get to share all of these recipes with you. This book took up most of my days and nights for 4 months.  I developed, tested, wrote, and photographed non-stop and sometimes with little sleep.  The first part of the book details my story and journey with paleo which I will be sharing in a separate post in the coming weeks. I will also walk you through stocking you Paleo Baking Pantry and why I find using seasonal ingredients so important.

If you have been following my blog for a long time, you will see some of the reader favorites (and mine too) like the Dark Chocolate Cakie Cookies or Pumpkin Pecan Pie Bars amongst the recipes. I included a small handful that you all make frequently so you can have it in print and all in one place. 80% of the recipes are brand new, so there will still be plenty of new exciting recipes for you to try! All of the recipes in the book are grain & dairy free, making them suitable for the Paleo diet. There are 85 recipes, so you will have plenty of options to choose from when deciding on a treat for that upcoming special occasion.

Here is a sneak peak at some of the recipes inside the book:

Hi! These pictures all make me hungry! I follow your website both via email and Facebook all the time and I have printed off quite a few of your recipes. Two or three have become holiday staples now for my extended family – not just for ordinary time.
The pictured food I would love to make first is the first one in the second row. Looks yummy! :)
Thank you for all you do to help people live grain and sugar-free.

When I saw the lemon bars I got teaary eyed…my mother-n-law was an angel on Earth and she always made these for my daughter because she loved Gramma’s “Lemon thingies”. She passed away a couple years ago and is terribly missed. So I would make these for my daughter..we would have tea in the antique cups we inherited from her along with these..and honestly propbably shed a few tears…thanks for the recipe!
