The Girls Meet Asa

Last Friday we finally got to meet Asa.  Asa is my best friends little guy who is almost 18 months.  The last time I saw Melissa was actually at the baby shower I threw her in Atlanta, and she was 8 months pregnant.  I’ve seen so many pictures of little Asa, but I can’t tell you how great it was to meet him in person.  I was also happy to have the girls meet him since Melissa and I have been best friends since 5th grade!  I thought they were all bound to be best friends due to their mommies friendship.  Asa wasn’t too interested in the girls and I have to say the girls weren’t too interested in him either.  I think that might have been because we met at the zoo.  All the little ones couldn’t get enough of all the animals surrounding us.  We all had a great time and I can’t tell you how great it was to see my best friend.  I just wish we had more time to spend together or just lived closer.  Here are a couple more pictures of our time together.

The children’s petting zoo was a big hit!  The goats, sheep, and even pigs loved all the kids being around.  Of course, most of them had food to distract them.

It has been so long since I’ve been to the Atlanta Zoo and it was great!!  Really great for the little ones.  And here is just a small recap of some of the animals we got to see at the Atlanta Zoo!  If your in Atlanta ever and need a place to take the little ones the zoo is a must!

And I just can’t resist showing you this little guy….he was adorable!! 

Again, we had a great time with Asa, Melissa, and Drew and hopefully it won’t be as long until we see them again.
